How to go to Mount Olympus
If you want to go to mt Olympus from Thessaloniki, the best way is by bus!
You have to take bus no. 2 or 31 by all the bus stops in the upper part of Egnatia str. The final stop of both lines is the central bus station KTEL MAKEDONIA.
From the central bus station you take the bus to Litochoro that is the village from where it starts the european path E4 to the mountain. The bus leaves you exactly in front of Olympus in the centre of the village.
There is a bus departing from Thessaloniki almost every hour starting from 7.10 am. Just there is no bus at 10.10 am.
The ticket costs 16,50 euro go and back!
The trip lasts around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
